At JCM it is essential that all our carers and staff complete induction training before starting any care duties. We ensure our staff are always progressing and developing their skills.
All our carers are trained to be an active and reliable team member. We train our staff to have a positive attitude and a professional approach while working.

We offer a broad series of comprehensive training so that our staff and carers are confident.

Induction training, compliant with the Care Certificate and is CPD Accredited
Regular Refresher Training
Health and Safety
Medication
Nursing care training for Health Care Assistants including Suctioning, PEG Feeding, and Tracheostomy.
Qualified trainers who are ‘Train The Trainer’ compliant
Career Development (e.g. NVQ Health and Social Care Level 2, 3 & 5)
Training on IT systems e.g. Electronic Call Monitoring, Care Planner, CM2000 etc.
Customer Service training and many more.

Ongoing training and support throughout your career
During induction you will work alongside experienced staff, shadowing them during their visits so you understand what the job involves.
Our supervising staff are always available to see you and you will have a medication competency when you start to ensure you are safe with administering medication to clients. You will then have a formal supervision every 3 months, be directly observed every 3 months and have an annual appraisal to discuss and agree on your future goals and targets. There are opportunities to progress your career within our company and we like to promote from in-house to encourage growth of our staff.
I do not regret a thing having joined the health sector, I have gained adequate knowledge, skills and experience and built a good relationship with senior managers, fellow colleagues, frontline staff, clients and other associates within the health sector or other fields of work.
